AFC and BSL Chain Rebuilds and Service Work
- Chain strip, clean, turn, including:
- Layout of used chain and flight bars, pressure clean and visually inspect
- Measure & log elongation and matched pair tolerances of all chain.
- Strip all flights, pressure clean and needle gun clean all mating surfaces, measure and log critical lengths.
- Turn and rematch chain sets for best result.
- Grit blast 25m pair of chain and 100% NDT by mag particle if required.
- Grit blast approx 28 flight bars and NDT by mag particle if required.
- Re-assemble chain and flights with new nuts and bolts to correct torque.
- All nuts crimped followed by a visual inspection of the crimp to meet standard Click here for image
- Re-Load chain and bars into pods to mines requirements
- Full report on condition of chain and flights. Report supplied in digital formats with relevant photos Report will include comprehensive detail of chain condition with recommendations.
